INTERIOR DECORATORS IN LEANDER, TX
I create masterfully planned interior designed spaces that depict the unique expressions of my client’s true personality & individual style.
I design custom cabinets, counters and specialty features like built in refrigerated drawers, bars, wine cellars, barn doors & custom furniture. I define what style is my client's dream then I create a distinctive, successful design accordingly. I deliver custom designs to each interior design project reflecting the individual style, favorite colors, behavioral traits & characteristics of that particular client. For example, color is a very personal choice. Everyone has a favorite color and color has emotions tied to it. But deciding what colors you will wake up to be surrounded with is often difficult. I am gifted in designing a personal color palette reflective of my client's individual style and personal taste. How do I always get the "custom details" just right? My ability to interpret.
I am especially talented in organization & efficiency. I get this talent for my love of science and my experience in the Japanese industrial 5S planning process. Efficiency & effectiveness make me smile. I LOVE 5S planning. I use my commercial 5S planning experience in residential design to successfully produce a desired result utilizing space effectively. This allows my designs for homes to successfully maximize space and use the home's structure to it's fullest ability.
What makes my talent differ from other interior designers is my ability to define the project. I evaluate my client and take into consideration their activities, lifestyle, profession, personality & behavioral traits and strategically design a space that supports all of these. Each project is an effective blueprint utilizing space, producing an impressing striking design.
I love to integrate a client’s treasures into a design. This adds a personal touch and includes those memories associated with a treasured item in a current design. It keeps those memories alive. I give options when designing and allow the owner’s a choice and say in the creative design process. I feel this keeps open communication flowing and gives a sense of security in the project.
A little history into what defined me as a interior designer . . .
My father bought a house when I was in 3rd grade for $1. No typo there! Literally, one dollar. A grease fire in the kitchen had destroyed half the house including the kitchen, dining room, laundry room & bathroom. We remodeled this house. My father did not hire one person to help. He taught my sister and I every trade. We worked and lived in this house until we completed it. Then he sold it and started another project. My life was literally surrounded by remodeling.
I spent the rest of my childhood in a farm house built in 1892 with my mom & step dad. With that old house came many repairs, upgrades, remodels & maintenance. I was handed a sludge hammer when I was 8. I learned how to remove and relocate large windows from the kitchen to my bedroom, install sliding glass doors, and build an octagonal deck (just to start with). This was the start of my repurposing love. We installed wood stoves that heated our water and home. We also installed solar throughout. I owe my 41 years of experience to all my wonderful and talented parents. I truly was given the gift of a lifetime. And this is how I got started doing what I love.
